Who Should Attend the Educational Visits Co-ordinator Course?

This course is aimed at new and existing EVC’s. It is good practice for all establishments to have an Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC) and in some cases the employer’s policy will make this a requirement. 

Educational Visits Co-ordinator Learning Outcomes

This course enables EVC’s to support in the planning and management of their school’s educational visits in line with employer requirements, national guidance and current good practice.

Learning and Assessment

At the end of this course, learners will have / be able:

• Enhanced knowledge and understanding of the requirements surrounding policy and operational procedures appertaining to educational visits
• To consider what makes a high quality learning experience
• Greater confidence to act as an Educational Visits Coordinator
• Increased competence with risk assessment and managing risks
• To help fulfil health and safety obligations.
